Here you will find frequently asked questions from our customers about Arvox Pro

Product
What is Arvox Pro?

Arvox Pro is a highly effective 2-component, oxygen based cleaning system developed for powerful removal of organic contaminants from various surfaces. Its patented formula produces stronger, longer lasting cleaning results compared to standard products. Application is fast, thorough, and fully environmentally neutral, ideal for users seeking both performance and sustainability.

What’s the difference between Arvox Pro for Grout & Tile and Arvox Pro Limescale Remover areas?

Arvox Pro Grout & Tile is formulated to remove organic dirt, mold, and stains from tiles and grout lines. Arvox Pro Limescale Remover is designed to dissolve inorganic mineral deposits, such as limescale, commonly found in bathrooms and sanitary spaces. For optimal cleaning, use Limescale Remover first and follow with Grout & Tile for a complete deep clean.

Do Arvox products use phosphoric acid?

No, Arvox products are free from phosphoric acid. The formulas are odorless, environmentally friendly, and safe for health, ensuring both user and surface protection.

Why do Arvox Pro bottles display hazard symbols if the product is environmentally neutral?

The individual components require hazard labeling before use due to certain ingredients. During application, these ingredients react with each other and are rendered harmless. After the cleaning process, only neutral, environmentally safe substances remain on the surface.

How does Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover differ from other cement removers?

Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover contains no harsh acids, making it safe for sensitive surfaces such as terrazzo or terracotta. It effectively removes cement residue without damaging delicate materials, offering a gentler yet powerful alternative to conventional products.

Is Arvox Pro suitable for cleaning facades with mineral render or insulation?

Arvox Pro Stone & Concrete is ideal for removing stubborn dirt from plastered facades and those insulated with external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). The formula penetrates mineral renders for deep, effective cleaning.

Does Arvox Pro work on painted surfaces?

Arvox Pro removes dirt and organic buildup from painted surfaces but does not remove the paint or coating itself. This makes it safe for gently maintaining painted or coated materials.

Does Arvox Pro Grout & Tile also remove limescale deposits?

No, Arvox Pro Grout & Tile is formulated for organic contaminants only. For limescale or other inorganic mineral deposits, use Arvox Pro Limescale Remover first, then follow up with Grout & Tile for a complete clean.

Can I use Arvox Pro Grout & Tile to clean colored grout?

Yes, Arvox Pro effectively cleans colored mineral grout without fading or damaging the color. For best results on grout lines, use the Arvox Fuginator grout brush together with the Grout & Tile cleaner.

Which types of floors can be cleaned with Arvox Pro Parquet & Floorboards?

Arvox Pro Parquet & Floorboards is ideal for deep cleaning of oiled and waxed wooden floors indoors. It removes organic residues and old impregnation agents (excluding paint or lacquer). After cleaning, the wood should be re-oiled or re-impregnated for optimal care.

Can wooden floorboards also be cleaned with Arvox Pro Wood?

Arvox Pro Wood is specifically developed for outdoor wooden surfaces. For interior oiled or waxed floorboards, Arvox Pro Parquet & Floorboards is recommended to match the requirements of indoor wood flooring.

Does cleaning with Arvox Pro Rubber & Plastics alter the surface of sports floors?

On which surfaces should Arvox Pro not be used?

Arvox Pro should not be applied to sensitive or unsuitable materials. These include automobile paint, aluminum, copper, zinc, tin, delicate woods, sensitive textiles, suede, glass, and engineered wood products like OSB or MDF. Using Arvox Pro on these materials may cause surface damage.

Can Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover be applied on natural stone?

Yes, Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover can be safely used on natural stone, including sensitive types. Its mild, organic acid formula removes cement residue thoroughly, without damaging or etching delicate stone surfaces.

Usage
How is Arvox applied?

To achieve the best cleaning results, apply Arvox Pro according to the following steps:
1. Spray On: Hold the bottle 20–30 cm from the surface and spray Arvox Pro A evenly to create a fine film. Immediately spray Arvox Pro B in the same way.
2. Work In: Use a brush, scrubber, or cleaning machine to thoroughly work both components into the surface. For stubborn dirt, repeat the application.
3. Allow to Act: Let the solution work for 5–15 minutes, adjusting for the level of soiling and temperature.
4. Rinse Off: Rinse the area thoroughly with water and a brush, or indoors, wipe with a damp cloth or use a scrubber-dryer with fresh water. Avoid letting the product dry on the surface.
Note: Any white powder residue is biodegradable sodium carbonate (“washing soda”) and can be removed with water. Ensure good ventilation for indoor use.

Am I allowed to mix components A and B together?

No, do not pre-mix Arvox Pro components A and B. Apply both directly to the surface—either one after the other or simultaneously. Pre-mixing in a container causes the cleaning reaction to occur too early, negating cleaning power.

Can both components be applied at the same time?

Yes, it is possible to apply Arvox Pro components A and B simultaneously, as long as separate containers are used. This ensures maximum cleaning efficacy.

Is a single application sufficient?

Most cleaning tasks require only one application of Arvox Pro due to its high effectiveness. In cases of heavy contamination or deeply embedded dirt, repeat the process after allowing the surface to dry.

Does Arvox damage the surfaces to be cleaned?

Arvox Pro is designed to clean thoroughly while being gentle on most surfaces when used as directed. However, some metals such as aluminum, brass, or copper may discolor; always test on an inconspicuous area first.

Does Arvox Pro also remove rust stains?

No, Arvox Pro does not remove rust. Rust is inorganic, and Arvox Pro is formulated for organic contaminants.

Does the floor need to be retreated after cleaning with Arvox Pro Parquet & Floorboards?

Yes, after cleaning with Arvox Pro Parquet & Floorboards, the floor should be re-oiled or re-impregnated. The cleaner removes both dirt and old treatments, so ensure the wood is completely dry and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for optimal results.

Does Arvox attack metals?

Arvox Pro can be corrosive to certain metals. Always protect sensitive or adjacent metal surfaces during application. Arvox Pro Limescale Remover is designed not to attack metallic surfaces.

Can Arvox remove epoxy resin residues?

No, Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover is not suitable for epoxy. It is designed for removing cement film and inorganic contaminants, while Arvox Pro Grout & Tile is intended for organic deposits.

The cleaner leaves white deposits on the surface. What are they?

White powder left after cleaning is sodium carbonate (washing soda), a non-toxic and environmentally safe by-product. Simply rinse or wipe it off with clean water.

How soon after grouting can Arvox Pro Cement film Remover be used?

Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover can be used 24 hours after grouting, allowing for prompt and efficient integration into construction or renovation workflows.

Safety
Are animals at risk when using Arvox?

Keep pets away from treated areas during application of Arvox Pro. Once the cleaning reaction is complete and the surface has been thoroughly rinsed with water, the area is safe for animals to access again.

What should I do if I get Arvox in my eyes or on my skin?

Arvox Pro can cause skin and eye irritation. If contact occurs, rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water, removing contact lenses if present. Wash skin with water and soap. Seek medical advice if any irritation persists.

Do I need to wear gloves and a mask when using Arvox Pro?

Wear protective gloves and safety goggles whenever handling Arvox Pro. When working overhead, especially with Arvox Pro Limescale Remover, safety goggles are mandatory. Avoid inhaling spray mist.

After use, white spots have appeared on my skin. Is this dangerous?

Component B of Arvox Pro may cause temporary, superficial skin reactions such as white spots. These are generally harmless and disappear on their own after a few hours. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Is there anything special to consider when using Arvox Pro Limescale Remover?

When applying Arvox Pro Limescale Remover overhead, always wear safety goggles for eye protection. Apply components A and B promptly, work the solution into the surface, allow time to act, and rinse thoroughly. In direct sunlight, keep surfaces moist to prevent premature drying.

Storage
Can I use Arvox outdoors in any weather?

Arvox Pro should not be applied outdoors during heavy rain, direct sunlight, or frost. Moisture can reduce cleaning effectiveness and high temperatures may cause the components to dry too quickly. The best results are achieved on dry, overcast days with mild temperatures.

How should Arvox be stored?

Store Arvox Pro containers upright, in a cool place, and protected from light. Proper storage preserves product quality and ensures safety.
